River Plate Joins Boca Juniors In Copa Libertadores Last 16
River Plate beat Colo-Colo 4-0 to join city rivals Boca Juniors in the last 16 of the Copa Libertadores
Julian Alvarez, Enzo Fernandez, Matias Suarez and Braian Romero scored for River as they sealed their place in the knockout stages of the competition with a dominant display in Buenos Aires.
The win means that both of Argentina's representatives in the Copa Libertadores have now reached the last 16, with Boca having already qualified by beating Always Ready last week.
River Plate will now face either Fortaleza or Colo-Colo in the next round, while Boca Juniors will play Deportivo Cali or Always Ready.
